Zinzi is more than just a go-getter: her ethos has always been to get it done, and get it done well. To that end, she got an early career start and has thrived by challenging herself in new places, situations and roles. She’s worked in various capacities, across different regions and formats, for a range of household-name shows and channels, including Amazon, BBC and MTV. Her motivation is never in short supply, because she loves what she does.
Zinzi’s professional career started before her student career was over. Two years into a film and television diploma, she started working as a Production Assistant.
She worked on hit South African reality TV shows like All You Need is Love, Clash of the Choirs, Fear Factor and Strictly Come Dancing. She then turned to scripted formats, working on riveting shows for Mzansi Magic and MTV, and then later on service commercials in the film industry.
Although already a great all-rounder, a stint in Doha, Qatar, necessitated massive cultural adjustment and personal growth. It also opened up more international opportunities: Zinzi was on the Production Management team for two seasons of Survivor South Africa, as well as on BBC’s Getaway Car and Amazon’s Skulls &
